FAQ's

What size should I order?

True to size for most people. Half sizes stop at 9 — so if you're a 9.5 or 10.5, take the next full size up. If you're between sizes anywhere else, size up too; the suede gives a little with wear but won't shrink.

Why are these so much less than the $165 pair?

Same materials — real suede, real cork, genuine leather lining. What you're not paying for is a 250-year-old name and a department store's cut. We sell direct, so the money goes into the shoe instead of the markup.

Do they need breaking in?

No. That's the main difference. A bare cork footbed takes a week or two of wear before it molds to your foot, which is why the originals hurt at first. Ours has memory foam layered on top of the cork — you get the same support, but it's soft from the first hour.

Will rain ruin the suede?

No. Untreated suede soaks up water and stains, which is why most people won't wear their suede pair out in bad weather. These are water resistant — rain, wet grass and puddles are fine. Just don't submerge them or put them through the wash.
